One of the things I am most excited about is web functionality that requires very little of the user, but generates a surprising, high production value effect.  Minimal input, maximum output.

This campaign, by 7-Eleven's Slurpee brand is a good example.  All users need to do is select or upload a photo and the application delivers you a virtual brain freeze.

New Developments in Face recognition software allow us to detect the face the eyes, the mouth, the nose automatically, separate the face out of the photo and use the data points to manipulate a 3D mesh.
