PhotoFace Launches in the US and UK

It's been a few months since we released a demo of our PhotoFace technology, and we're proud to announce the recent launches of the first campaigns to use it:

To promote mymms.com, IMC2 created the Candy Lab, allowing visitors to the M&M'S site to upload their photo onto an image of the famous candy and send it out to friends. Users can also link to the online store and order bags of actual M&M'S customized with their face. The process is seamless and will help to drive increased ecommerce revenues.

Volkswagen is using the technology to introduce drivers to the new Routan minivan. Developed in conjunction with Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the RoutanBabymaker3000 uses PhotoFace morphing technology to show couples what their Routan-inspired offspring would look like. Users upload two photos and the technology does the rest, including emailing to friends and posting to blogs and social networkings. Users can even control which parent the baby looks like.

Walker's Chips took their application in a different direction. Developed in conjunction with OMD Digital in London, Spud Yourself lets users turn themselves into a talking potato.

And Nokia used PhotoFace for their global Music Almighty campaign, introducing the Nokia Music Store. Wieden + Kennedy London gave users the ability to create a 3D avatar and rock out like a superstar. This deploymeny is being launched in over twenty countries this fall.
