Monkeying around at the Webbies
Last night, on Wall Street, we picked up a Webby Award for Best Interactive Marketing campaign for Monk-e-Mail. After the Wall Street Journal called it the “best viral marketing campaign of 2006” and after over 100 Million monk-e-mails sent, it was great to also be recognize with a Webby.
We where sorry that our partners and clients from Cramer Krasselt could not make it. This was their award and we where honored to accept it on their behalf. It was their Idea to do Monk-e-Mail and we could have never asked for a better group of people to collaborate with on this. Career Builder was really fortunate to have them as an agency.
“Monkeys are funnier than people” was my five word acceptance speech.
The highlight of the evening, for me, was that I got to share the stage (45 minutes apart :) ) with David Bowie – who won a lifetime achievement award for bowienet.
