We are proud to release today our first mobile avatar product (u-doo) which allows users to create their own avatar and download it to a mobile phone as a video ring tone or a message.  Releasing this product was no small feat.  With the hundreds of different handsets and mobile operating systems – knowing which format to send to each handset required us to invent some new tricks.  Another challenge came when we realized that the carriers do not allow for free content to flow into their phones.  So while we have to charge for the service, it’s free, all you can eat, for the first 60 days!   

The product is released with our partners at InPhonic, the leading online provider of wireless services, and sponsored by Motorola.

So if you have a video enabled phone – try it out and drop us a comment with your feedback.  We envision using this technology to provide not only user generated feedback, but informational services (such as weather and sports alerts) as well as consumer messaging.
